Award-Winning Professional: Carlos is an award-winning BBC-Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year. His videos filmed with GoPro have won first prizes in international underwater film festivals.
Global Experience: His work has taken him to exciting dive destinations on every continent, from Antarctica to Micronesia. He worked as a dive instructor, cameraman, and photographer in locations including the Cayman Islands, Australia, and Papua New Guinea in the 90s. His photos have graced 120 magazine front covers and displayed in museums and exhibitions around the world.
Innovator & Designer: Carlos doesn’t just teach; he innovates. He designs and manufactures his own line of ‘Glowdive’ accessories specifically for underwater filming, including filters, handles, diffusers, and snoots. A selection of these custom accessories will be available for you to try during the week.
Master of Control: Carlos has specialized in maximizing the GoPro’s potential, utilizing QR codes for total control of the camera underwater—a system he designed and whose unique features were partly developed by GoPro at his request.
